What is Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis?

Drug Resistant TB occurs when TB causing bacteria become resistant to the front-line drugs that are used to treat the disease. There are a few types of DR-TB, such as Multidrug-Resistant TB, Pre-extensively drug-Resistant TB and Extensively Drug-Resistant TB.
