What is Tuberculosis?
Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly infectious bacterial disease that primarily affects the lungs, but can also cause damage to other body parts. It is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, an acid fast bacillus belonging to Mycobacteriaceae family.
